If you want a day in privileged surroundings with a good helping of fun and relaxation in equal measure then the Fly Fishing and Clay Shooting days are just for you. Whether for customer entertainment, stag parties or small groups we are happy to arrange a day to remember.
We offer Rainbow Trout fishing in magnificent surroundings on private lakes where you can spend some quiet time with totally relaxed clients and friends enjoying a fascinating sport. Gillies will be on hand to guide, the beginner through to the more experienced angler, in all aspects of fly fishing to ensure that your time is well spent and extra special. It is our full expectation that you will have a positive and enthusiastic response from all your guests.
Have enormous fun and learn the basics of Clay Pigeon Shooting. Don your wellies and add those fetching sun glasses and learn a thing or two about focusing on your targets! Tuition is offered for non shooters by a BASC coach.
We recommend that you begin the day as you mean to go on, enjoying good company in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Start the day together with a Haycock Breakfast then put on your wellies, wax jacket and a hat and enjoy the great outdoors. We cater for all ages, aptitude and abilities. Access is provided for disabled guests.
For your convenience, tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout the day at your discretion.
At midday you can enjoy warming soup, home made breads and a sandwich selection and then after your days fishing you are invited to take drinks and canapés in the lounge or the hotel gardens or stroll along the banks of the River Nene, enjoying the beauty of the hotel's grounds.
Bottles of Champagne can be provided to be presented to guests as required with a few words from the host.
